Leadership Development
“I hear nothing but praise and gratitude from everyone about your sessions…” (Senior Learning Coach, Henley Business School)
Effective leaders can learn to be more authentic, empathetic and focused on developing others. With increased skills and competence as well as confidence, they can communicate a strong vision for change and challenge the status quo.
My experience of Action Learning Set facilitation, along with working extensively with senior leader apprentices at Henley Business School, gives me the skills to work with you and your leaders to help them grow and be more impactful.
I can also show you how to manage stress in a more strategic way, by proactively reviewing how your leaders allocate and manage workloads and review progress with their teams.
eLearning Design and Consultancy
“Joan has a breadth and depth of knowledge in the field of professional learning and development, combined with a practical, supportive, common-sense approach, making it enjoyable and a privilege to work alongside her.” (Organisation Mindset & Culture Change Consultant)
So much eLearning is sadly little more than a page-turning experience for learners, with too much focus on knowledge and not enough on behaviour change.
Working with renowned eLearning developers, my extensive experience enables me to quickly identify what success looks like for you and design and build an interactive, reflective experience that encourages your people to think about what needs to change in their own approach.
I work with subject matter experts on what is important to you and your organisation and am not afraid to push back on unreasonable demands. I will ask you to articulate what success looks like for you and how you’ll know you have succeeded, so that the impact of what we do can be measured.
Facilitation
In addition to facilitating team days and leadership workshops, I am an expert Action Learning practitioner.
I ran a workshop at Learning2023 in Orlando which was described as ‘world class’.
Action Learning is a technique for developing leaders and managers that I use extensively at Henley Business School. The approach works because of the power of asking questions rather than offering solutions (“solutionising”). I work face-to-face or virtually and can offer a free one-hour demo if you are interested in finding out how Action Learning can benefit you.
